My Father’s Diaries will be presented within the 15th edition of Mediterranean Cinema Days, a non-competitive showcase dedicated to the stories, conflicts, and crossings that shape the Mediterranean today.
The festival, organised by the Centro Iniziative Culturali Arci, has become a reference point in Sardinia for films that give space to fragile memories, borderlands, and voices often pushed aside.
From 18 to 23 November, Iglesias will host screenings, meetings, and dialogues with filmmakers, researchers, and witnesses from across the Mediterranean—an open space where cinema becomes a place of listening and civic reflection.
All events are free and open to the public.

Screening of My Father’s Diaries within the 2025 edition of Ignoti alla Città , titled “Mediterraneo, sguardi e storie di diritti e resistenza”.
This long-running independent festival explores documentary cinema as a space for critical reflection, civic engagement, and the voices of the margins.
The 2025 focus looks at the Mediterranean through conflict, migration, forgotten stories, and new possibilities of coexistence.
From 21 to 23 November, Palazzo Roberti will host masterclasses, screenings, and public conversations with leading voices and direct witnesses from across the Mediterranean.
The screening will be followed by a conversation with director Ado Hasanović, moderated by Savino Carbone.
All events are free and open to the public.

Special screening on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide.
Followed by a conversation with director Ado Hasanović.
As part of the commemorations marking thirty years since the Srebrenica genocide, the Municipality of Valsamoggia, in collaboration with Nema Problema Onlus, will dedicate a public garden to Srebrenica and host a special screening of My Father’s Diaries.
The event will also pay tribute to Alexander Langer, whose death occurred thirty years ago, offering an opportunity to reflect on two intertwined memories of peace and reconciliation.
Organized by the Municipality of Valsamoggia, with the support of Nema Problema Onlus and the Department of Culture.
